Am I Pregnant?

Am I Pregnant?

Your body has incredible ways of signaling early pregnancy. If you've recently had sex and missed your period, you might be experiencing early pregnancy symptoms.

Early Pregnancy Signs & Symptoms

While each pregnancy and woman is different, here are some common thoughts you might be thinking to yourself:

  • Have I missed my period?
  • I feel like throwing up.
  • My breasts feel tender.
  • I am getting up to pee more than usual.
  • I feel a little wiped out.
  • I wonder why I’m feeling so moody.

If you're here, chances are you've noticed some signs from your body that have you wondering, "Could I be pregnant?"

It's important to note that you could still be pregnant even if you believe you've had your period. Sometimes, what seems like a period might actually be implantation bleeding, which can cause light spotting but is not a typical menstrual flow.

How to Find Out if You’re Pregnant

If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms or simply had sex recently without birth control, we have helped thousands of women facing the same questions.

Pregnancy Test

The first step in determining if you are pregnant is to take a lab-grade pregnancy test,  to identify hormone levels consistent with pregnancy.

As a non-profit organization, we offer free, confidential pregnancy tests. Those who qualify may also receive a non-diagnostic ultrasound on their following appointment to verify the gestational age of their pregnancy.

Ultrasound

An ultrasound not only confirms your pregnancy but also checks the viability of the fetus.  Additionally, sonographers can measure the fetus to determine the approximate date of conception.
