Abortion laws have recently changed in every state.  South Carolina currently bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, and although we are thankful for this ban in our state, many women will drive to Charlotte, NC or Jacksonville, FL to find an abortionist.

Since 2020, abortions in South Carolina have increased 124%  What do we attribute that to?  In Jan 2023, the FDA approved the availability of abortion pills through retail pharmacies and online telehealth consultation, providing abortion pills through the mail.

More than half of the abortions in America are now done with pills. Bleeding is a common side effect of taking the abortion pills and complications can arise that, in addition to destroying the baby, threaten the mother’s health.  

Take heart though, there is hope. Statistics show that up to 80% of women who see their baby’s heartbeat through ultrasound choose life, and that’s why your support is even more crucial today.
